From Genesis to Revelation – stopping off to look at the highlights & low points of some of the Bible’s most enduring and thrilling stories – we will discover more about ourselves and how Jesus is the Hero of it all!

The Living Room (Mondays)

'A family friendly space at Calne Baptist Church, Castle Street Calne, SN11 0DX every Monday 10.30am - 2pm.

All are welcome who would value a warm place with hot drinks (tea and coffee) and food (lunch, fruit, cake, etc) at NO COST to you.

Film Nights (Fridays-Every Other Month)

At Calne Baptist Church we run small groups, meeting in homes, that enable us to grow together in our discipleship and support and care for one another.

Alpha Courses

We hope that those attending the Alpha course, from Calne, which ran last September at Station Road Baptist Church, Chippenham, found it both interesting and helpful.

Alpha is a 12 week course exploring the big questions of life in a friendly way.
​
There is a course currently running which began on Tuesday 6th February 2024 at St Paul's Church Chippenham. Each evening runs from 7 - 9pm, starting with a supper, and with a no olbligation taster session.

We hope to take part in another Alpha Course at Station Hill Baptist Church, Chippenham in September - more information to be announced nearer the time.
Places will be available to us, and we can arrange lifts. This is for anyone in or outside of the church who would like to explore more about the Christian Faith.

Open the Book

We participate in and support Open the Book (OtB), an exciting storytelling project where Bible stories are shared with children in a way that is fun, interactive and memorable. As invited guests in school, storytelling teams use the Open the Book programme to prepare and present a 10–15 minute scripted Bible story to a school assembly, involving the children as much as possible.

Storytelling teams are made up of trained and safely recruited volunteers from local churches and organisations, who sign up as members and follow the Open the Book Code of Practice.

Messy Church

A relaxed and informal church with a warm welcome suitable for the whole family - crafts, songs, drama, food and plenty of opportunity to have fun and make a mess!

This activity on Sunday afternoons is at Calne Methodist Church from 3 - 6pm.
